2) Why are the Bittering's concerned with what has happened on Earth? Support your answer with evidence from the story.

4) "The children with their yellow hair hollered at the deep dome of Martian sky. there was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass." Identify the type of mood this quote has ( + or - ). What words support your answer.
5) Character Analyst. Write a paragraph about Harry using 1 trait to describe him. You need two examples from the story to show how he demonstrates that trait. (What the character says, thinks, does, and/or what other character's think of him.
Yay, first!
ReplyDeleteAnyways:
1. Two ways Mr Bittering feels about living on Mars are: he thought it was a terrible idea and wanted to go back to earth (at the beginning) and then he thought it was a warm and nice place, he became relaxed and decided that it was a good place. Examples are: he became nervous when he saw the plants and his cow, and he wanted to stay for years in the martian villas.
2. They are concerned because they believed that they wouldn't be able to get back to Earth, since all the rockets were destroyed in the war. Evidence is that Mr. Bittering tried building a rocket, and Laura cried when she heard the news.

ReplyDelete1.I thought the whole point of the story was that the Bittering family was losing their humanity and I always felt a mysterious atmosphere (tone). I felt how the family was going crazy by the middle of the story and seeing how the color of the children's eyed had changed.
ReplyDelete2.I think that quote has a negative mood. Words that support my answer are:"there was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass".
3.Harry as an adult always has to find a solution to his problems. It won't always be as easy to achieve what you want to do, what it takes is determination. And thats Harry's Middle name: Harry Determination Bittering. He just wants to leave Mars and is determined to finish that rocket as soon as possible. Almost nothing can stop it but the love of his family. He wants to go to Earth and thats why he is so determined.
1. I felt with a lot of emotions with this story. At the beginning I was anxious to know what will happen. What was coming up. Then, in the middle everything make a turn. Everything change of what I thought of what will happen. I started feeling worried about them turning into Martians and the rockets that aren´t coming to safe them. Then I thought he will construct the rocket and safe his family, but it went rusted. Everything was different of what I thought. At the end I was relieve because they find a way to be all right. They went to the hills being happy.
ReplyDelete2. I think is negative because it seem scary ("There was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass.")that description, it make me feel like something bad is going to happen, something scary. It will change, make a turn to the story.
3. Harry is a very fearful person. He thought that went to Mars was a terrific idea, he just want to go back to Earth. He says that they are Earth people, they should went back to Earth. He is scared of what could happen to him. He yelled at his wife because he want to go back, but she doesn´t have the same idea as he to go back. He yelled to the newspaper and start feeling determined of leaving Mars.
1. I think the story was about how people change. Being at Mars, people started to turn into Martians. Their eyes were golden and their skin was really dark. They were turning way taller, skinnier, and healthier. I think this story is about a family making the crazy desicion to move to Mars because Earth was being invaded with war. Now, they got used to it and the want to stay and live forever as Martians in the Martian hills. During the story, I felt like this family was coo-coo and should not have moved to Mars. Well, that is what I think because now, Mars is not in conditions for humans.
ReplyDelete2.I think its a positive mood. Key words: hollered, hiss, racing, stiff grass
3.Harry is a very concerned person. He worries. I know he is like this because she screams at Cora after she says this was a good idea, moving to Mars. He is cranky while reading the newspaper at breakfast. He stiffens and freaks out when he hears about the Atom Bomb hitting New York. Harry is such a concerned perso about everything, that he tries to convince his friends about building a rocket to go back to Earth. This happens after he sees that everyone is turning darker, taller, thinner, and golden-eyed. He worries even more. Later, he chills, relaxes and moves to the hills where there are no worries no more.
3- I think the story was about how you have to adapt to a place that is new for you. For Harry it was hard because he lived on Earth almost all his life and then coming to Mars! And trying to get used to it. For the kids it was easier because they hardly remember anything about Earth. Cora was at least more calm about it and was more used to the fact that she lived in Mars. So in my opinion I think that the story is trying to tell us that when you have the chance to do something crazy, do it.
ReplyDelete4- This frase is negative because it explains how quite it was and how alone they were. The words that help me are: the stiff grass, hiss of the wind, deep dome and, no answer.
5- A trait that I would give Harry is dynamic. I don't really know if that IS a trait but I think he is dynamic. At first he is really hard working and he would "never" stop trying to get out of Mars but them boom! He transforms into a martian! Great! Know he is stuck on Mars forever, forever, forever... (creepy voice in your head) Harry is also confused and scared about the fact that he will never get out of there, at the beggining, but after he gets brain-washed he is fine and normal living as a happy, cheerful, brain-washed, golden-eyed, dark skin martian. THE END.
TA DA!!!!
1. I think the story is in the future trying to tell us that maybe in the future will can go to mars in rockets and it would be safe there
ReplyDelete2.The type of mood this quote has is + the words that made me notice is yellow.
5. I think harry is very afraid person. i think that because he was scared when all the persons were getting yellow eyes and black skin. and when they told him that the rockets were broke by the booms in new york. he tried to do a rocket to bring his family back home.
1) I think the story is about a family that was trying to scape from the war on earth and they were lucky because they escape from earth at the correct time. Then all of the others spaceship on earth got destroyed by an atomic bomb. The story also said that the people that leave in that martian town will get to be black skin and golden eyed.
ReplyDelete2) I think is a negative because it says: there was no answer and hiss of the wind through the stiff grass
3) Harry is a very not outgoing person. He worries about many different people . He thinks is a bad idea that they went to mars but he is also thinking about going back to earth. He also know earth has an invasion . But he is trying o convince the people about building a new rocket . Later he forgets about the spaceship and he just relax
1. I think that the point of the story is that the bittering fmily was slowly transforming in Martians. They would also look skinnier and have yellow eyes.
ReplyDelete2. negative, words that support my answer: wind passing through th stiff grasss.
3. Harry has a wife and three kids. He is a very fearful guy. His family and him went to Mars by rocket. When they got to Mars hr wanted to live. He thaoght that they were going to become Martians. He also thoght that they didn't belong on Mars.
*he, leave, thought, thought
DeleteThanks for the info,.. i thought that the point of the story was to adapt to where you are and to accept the changes in life. "will where you are change who you are?" said by Ray Bradbury. :)
Delete1.) When I read the story, (past tense) I felt the emotions and feelings of the characters. The story changed emotion many times. First they were fearful, then they were happy, and so on.
ReplyDelete2.) What I felt was negative because there was a big silence in the big dome of the martian sky. That means that they were alone watching the sky, but in another point it could also be positive because they are watching the sky and feeling the wind in their skin and watching it brushing the stiff grass.
3.) Harry is a verydetermined guy. He is trying to find ways to go to Earth. He wants to build a rocket and convince his family to go back to their planet. The excuses that he gives in the story are with the food they are growing in Mars. He was also hesitated reading the newspaper to see what was happening in the war. That shows that he is interested in going back to planet Earth.
1. I thought all the story was going to be about the Bittering family leaving on Mars, when I kept reading I saw the father wanted to go back to Earth because he didn't want to loose his identity. For me this was the part were it began to become interesting. I felt anxious and I wanted to keep reading, then suddenly the story started to change. The family started getting tall, getting there eyes yellow, thinner, and their skin started getting darker, then they became martians.
ReplyDelete2. I think is negative mood because it says there was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass. It seems like in a scary mood and tone.
3. A trait for Harry is concerned because even though he didn't wanted to go to Mars he went. Harry is also concerned because he just doesn't worry about himself, he also worries about others.
1.They are a family that went to Mars because of the war that was happening on Earth so they were safe but there rocket rusted so they couldn't go back but there was a nuclear bomb on NYC so the rockets destroy and at the finals they became Martians.
ReplyDelete2.Its a negative mood because of the way they talk. The racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass.
3.Harry is afraid of what happen around him because he only think on the bad things. He don't think on the good things like that they are not on the war of Earth.
1. I think the story was about how people think and change their feelings and thoughts. At first, Mr. Bittering was afraid of being at Mars and at the end of the story he wasn´t afraid anymore, he realized that there wasn´t anything that he an do to go back to Earth, and he could stop the people from becoming martians.
ReplyDelete2. I think that it is a neutral mood: there was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass.
3. I think that Harry changes a lot through the story. At first, he really wanted to go to back to Earth, he was afraid of losing his and his family´s identities, and he was afraid of becoming martians. He even made a rocket himself but it didn´t work. At the end of the story Harry saw the changes in his family and how everyone became martians, so he didn´t care anymore.

Thanks for the information ;)
Delete1. I think the story is about how a family adapts to life in mars because of a war in their country
ReplyDeleteI felt the despair of mr bitering as I read.
2. I think negative because it said here was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass.
3. Harry first didnt wanted to live on mars but then he started adapting to it . he had a wife and three kids
3. I think this story was about how the Bittering family was changing with the enviroment to martians. I the beggining when we started reading the story I was anxious to keep reading and find out how the story ended. This story is very interesting, it has you like wanting to know what will happen at the end. When they were like making a rocket I thought they were going back to Earth but they didn't at the end. Thats the thing about stories you never know what is going to happen, the author surprises you...
ReplyDelete4. I think it was a negative mood. it was a negative mood because of this words: "Deep dome on martian sky" to me it sounds like dark, not so pretty. "there was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass." this is also dark because stiff grass and hiss of the wind, you can imagine that like a boring scenario or dark and bad.
5. Harry is a perfectionist. He always want things to go perfect or at least the best they can be. He only wanted to go home and leave mars for good. He can also be very determine when he proposes himself to. Like when he was fixing the rocket, he didn't want to do anything but fix it so his family could go home. When the food of mars was weird he was determine not to eat the food, and only ate Earth food. I think if harry wouldn't have given up on the rocket or at least trying something, he would have gotten to Earth with his family and be happy.
1. i think this story was about that the buttering didnt want to lose their humanity by being in mars an they didn't want to be there.you can notice that easily when the members of the family went crazy on the story.-jose miguel berrocal.

ReplyDelete1. This story is about Buffetings family who went to Mars to escape from earth because of the atomic bomb that landed in New York Harry wants to go back but her wife Cora convinsed him to stay
2. This phrase is - because of the words no answer
Buffetings... Lol
Deleteis ur name Ana or Ani because I'm writing about what you wrote here in my project and my teacher needs a bibliography which contains the the person's name who wrote the passage. Lol ...
Delete1 I think that in my own words the story would be:
ReplyDeleteThey there as this family that went to Mars because in Earth, there was a war and want to get safety. Then when they get to mars the father Harry was fearful and wants to get back but at that time they saw that an atom bomb hit New York and destroyed the rocket launcher and they can't send a rocket to space to save them. There they get adapted to the environment because they needed to live there and not to die. They became Martians at the end of the story and so the the skin color changed and the eye color also changed to yellow.
2 I think that it is positive because they the children are in mars but they have a shelter to live.
3 that I think Harry is fearful because in the story he always wants to get back to Earth and how he demonstrates he scared because he thinks there is an onwishable person on mars.
1.i think the story is about a family who first is not used to the kind of environment on mars but later they adapt to living there
ReplyDelete2.i think its negative because it says there was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass
3. a trait for harry is concerned because he did not want to go to mars but he went anyway and also harry doesnt worry about himself , he worries about others. - Gianclaudio Lopolitz
2.In my own words about what the story is about this family that live in Mars and they are very concerned about what is happening on Earth because in Earth a bomb in nyc affected and all the rockets were canceld and theft were afraid of been martian Harry wants to go back to earth but Cora his wife convince him to stay in Mars and they change there humanity to be a martian
ReplyDelete1) I think the story was about how Mr. Bittering changes the way he feels about living on Mars. Through the story I felt that the whole thing of living on Mars was strange because the condition in Mars aren't suitable for humans.I also was anxious throughout the story because I wanted to know if they stayed on a Mars or made it back to Earth.
ReplyDelete2) I think that it is negative because a hiss is a negative sound.
3) Harry is very paranoid person since he is always worrying a anything and everything. He feel very afraid when being on Mars because he doesn't want to loose his and his family's identities. He only wants to go back Earth.
1. I think the story was about a american family moved to mars escaping from the war. The father was scared of mars. At the end the family turned into marsians.
ReplyDelete2. I think this is a negative quote since the winds made the family scared because the wind represented the marsians. In the story i remember the father got really scared about the marsians.
3. The bitterings are concerned because they knew the rockets would take a long time to get build again to go saving them. This meant they know have to plant their own food.

ReplyDelete1) In your own words what did you think this story was about. (Provide a cohesive and detailed account of what you felt and thought, as you read the story).
ReplyDeleteI think the story was about how you can change depending where you are and who is around you.
2) "The children with their yellow hair hollered at the deep dome of Martian sky. there was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass." Identify the type of mood this quote has ( + or - ). What words support your answer.
I get the quote in a negative way I think it is not trying to show anything pleasant.
5) Character Analyst. Write a paragraph about Harry using 1 trait to describe him. You need two examples from the story to show how he demonstrates that trait. (What the character says, thinks, does, and/or what other character's think of him.
He is really positive and determined and he would work really hard for getting what he wants and returning to Earth with his family.
3)The story is almost all about how Harry Bittering changes from being paranoic of living in Mars to be used to being a Earthman that became a Martian.I thought the story didnt have that much reality because Mars doesnt have the conditions for Earth people to live. I had this anxiety feeling all the story because I thought they woulld go back to Earth ,but they didnt. They got used to Mars and lived happily ever after.
ReplyDelete4)I think the quote is negative because a hiss can announce a scary thing
5)I think Harry is very paranoic because when they get to Mars he is all paranoic that the shouldnt be there because they were from Earth. In the story he also was paranoic when teh peach blossoms were not the peach blossoms and also when he is in the picnic all preoccupied about his family that had the golden eyes adn his kids had changed their names.
*and
ReplyDelete1 Te story is about how to get adapt to a new home with different people and to get use to the environment
ReplyDelete2 it's is a negative mood because there was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass.
3 harry is a father that wants to leave mars to go back to earth but he can't because the rockets got destroy on earth . He started to build his own rocket to go home but it failed while he was working other people on mars where becoming Martians. When he started to build his rocket he stopped doing it and relax with the other people in mars
3) I think the story was about Mr. Bittering problems in mars, his thoughts, and his actions. I thought like how long is this story is gonna be but when I got to the resolution i was like nice story. I feel very tension because in the story there was all this suspens. Something that was suspens is that everything have to do with wind and that make suspens, other one is that in one time it all starts to change, like grass color, the carrots, the blossoms, and most especially the people.
ReplyDelete4) I think is negative -. The key words are hollered and raicing hiss no more words.
5) Harry is always like scared and paranoid. he is because when they first landed he was like hyperactive and telling that they need to go back because something is wrong. he was always checking for the plants and the carrots and the other vegtebales.
1- i think the story is about the buttering family who went to mars running from the atom bomb in Earth and first they did not where adapted to Mars environment and then they started adapting and they became like some martians. the had golden-eyed dark skin...
ReplyDelete2- i think it is negative because it saids the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass.
3- Harry is always worried because he didn't wanted to be in mars and he wanted to go to Earth, but he was also positive because he tried to do a rocket to go back with his family
1. I think the story is about a family escaping from a war that go to Mars to save their life. Then they find out they have no way to go back to earth. The father, Harry, try doing a spaceship but then he realize living on Mars is not that bad. So while they live there they become Martians.
ReplyDelete2. I think it was a negative because they use negative words. However it also makes me feel like something creepy or a similar thing will happen.
3. The Bittering are concerned about what happened on Earth because they won't be able to return to Earth while they are in war.
I had number 3 wrong... It was supposed to be a paragraph describing Harry but accidentally I did number 2 of the homework
Delete1- I think this story was about a family that was running from the war and came to Mars. They were going back, but the war was in New York so the rockets were close and couldn't get to Mars. Harry ,the father was getting wearied because the food from the humans was running out and he wanted t go back to Earth. During the story they started changing with Golden-Eyed, tall and all the physical appearance of a Martian. Finally Harry started making a rocket, but then he never finish it. They move to the Villa of the Martians. At last the humans came to Mars and only see martians.
ReplyDelete2- I think this quote is negative because there was no answer.
3-I think that Harry is a very scary person. I think this because at breakfast when he was reading the newspaper he notice that the rockets could come to Mars and he immediately was worried and then had the idea of building a rocket.
1. I think this story is about a family that escapes from earth because there was a war and then strange things are starting to happen in mars.
ReplyDelete2. I think it is negative mood because the father doesn't like mars and the father and the kids are getting scared.
3. I think that Harry is like always scared because he always says that mars can be dangerous and he thinks that something bad is going to happen and does like strange things because in some parts of the story he was like checking everything and was making sure that nothing was strange.
1. The story is about a family called the Bitteings. That they move to Mars because escaping from the war. But then a bomb hits New York and all the rockets get damaged and no one could get out. They were starting to feel uncomfortable because every thing was different from Earth.
ReplyDelete2. The type of mood is negative and key words are: stiff grass, hiss of wind
3. Harry is a very undetermined man because he first was starting to built a rocket to go back to Earth but then he forgot about it and he did not work anymore in the rocket and because of that the rocket starting to get rusty and it ruined
3. The story is about a family in which there`s a dad who is very preoccupied and does not want to stay on Mars. He wants to go back to Earth, he thinks something will go wrong. It´s also about how a person can act their way so they dot change their personalities or identities.
ReplyDelete4. I think this quote is negative because they say he is hollering and hollering is like screaming or crying, I also think it because the only thing he hears is the hiss of the wind and a hiss a negative or sad feeling or sound.
5. Harry is a very preoccupied, nervous person. He always wants to know and hear everything that happening. He is also willing to do anything to get to a solution for every problem he faces. He gets really nervous about things. I think when he grows up he would like everything to be done as he wants. He will also be very preoccupied about everything that´s happening to his family and everything around him. He would take good care about their children (if he has) and would be a good dad.
1.I think the story is about a family that went t mars and then mr bittering wanted to go back to earth but the could not beacuse they attack new york and there were no rockets and then they get used to mars and stay there.
ReplyDelete2.I think it is negative
3.Harry wasnt sure about going to mars in first place so he wanted to leave mars but he could nt beacue they destroys the rockets in new yor so started building his own but he leave it beacuse he started to be used to mars
3) In your own words what did you think this story was about. (Provide a cohesive and detailed account of what you felt and thought, as you read the story)
ReplyDeleteWhat I think of the story was about how you need to adapt to a new place for you.
For Harry was very hard because he knew his family is a little crazy and now they were moving to Mars. But he knew he had to do it because he needed to protect his family.
4) "The children with their yellow hair hollered at the deep dome of Martian sky. there was no answer but the racing hiss of the wind through the stiff grass." Identify the type of mood this quote has ( + or - ). What words support your answer.
This frase is negative because it explains how quite it was and how alone they were. Some words that helped me were: deep dome and, no answer.
5) Character Analyst. Write a paragraph about Harry using 1 trait to describe him. You need two examples from the story to show how he demonstrates that trait. (What the character says, thinks, does, and/or what other character's think of him.
I think Harry is a person that is insecure and that he is always frustrated...he needs to calm down.
I can tell because he was very stressed with the atomic bomb and was always like nervous.

ReplyDelete3. i think this story is about a human family (the bitterings) and how they became dark, tall and golden eyed martians.
ReplyDelete4. This is negative because is sad.
5. Harry is a very paranoiac person that wants to leave Mars and go back to Earth because he thinks bad things are going to happen to he and his family.

ReplyDelete1) This story is about a family of five that had to move to Mars because of war at Earth. They built a home and planted Earth crops. Then they got really bad news that said that they were stranded at Mars forever now that no rockets were to go to Mars because they were affected with the atomic bomb. They decided that they were doing a rocket. They noticed they were changed, and also the plants so they were golden eyed, skinny, tall, and dark skinned. The family went for a swim when they noticed a village that the wanted to move to ,but the father already had the skeleton for the rocket. They moved anyways and started all over again, but then they got used to Mars so they forgot about the rocket. Five years later, the war had finished and other humans came, but by then they became fully into dark skinned, golden eyed, skinny and dark martians so the humans didn't recognize them as humans, but as martians.
ReplyDelete2) This has a negative mood because the children seem creeped out.
3) Harry was very concerned about Mars. He didn't like the idea of his kids and himself sewing to martian cultures. Harry is always careful about his stuf, but at the same time he is optimistic because he believes that he is going to be able to make a rocket. At the middle of the story, his personality changes because now, he got used to Mars and now he was sure of what Mars was like because he turned completely into a martian.
1) In my words, the story took place in the future, with the main characters being the members of a family of five, the Bittering family. For the purpose of escaping our planet Earth, which was undergoing a terrible war, they set out on a rocket to planet Mars, (just like the chocolate bar). Just as they arrived, they set up their own small house, planted crops and made a small barn for their own cow (I like cows). After a couple of days, Mr. Bittering notices that their crops are looking weird, carrots, onions and other vegetables had changed color after growing in the martian soil! Even their cow had grown a third horn! But the problem didn't stop there, for the rockets that transported people back to Earth, had just been destroyed by an atom bomb in New York! Mr. Bittering refused to eat the crops, so he decided to build a rocket himself from scrap metal. Upon building the rocket, he noticed that people had been changing. He noticed yellow specks on the townsfolk's eyes, and noticed everyone was getting taller and darker skinned. After some days of feeding on reserve food and building the rocket, his their reserve food runs out, and he is forced to eat food from the crops. Upon eating that food, he starts feeling distracted and relaxed, and forgets about the rocket. He and his family decide to move to a martian villa to pass some days their, but those days turn into years. A lustrum after, a rocket arrives on Mars, but all they find, are martians... DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNN.
ReplyDelete2) I think this sentence has a negative mood, for the constant statement of negative worths such as nothing and hiss, and the hostile comparisons said, such as when the wind is compared to a hiss.
3) Harry, or Mr. Bittering, if you are of the classy likings, is an extremely paranoid person, having a terrible fobia towards change. Even though staying on Mars was never a good idea, Harry was still very picky and paranoid about it. He stated firmly he would not eat a martian vegetable, for only its coloring! He even tried to make a rocket to go back home! If he had conserved calm, he probably would have been a bit more successful.
And remember kids, always eat your vegetables so you can grow big and strong! - Granny Yoleida
OH GOD ALL THE RESUME WAS FOR NOTHING UH DANG IT $@!& IT, I HATE THIS &$%@.
DeleteWell, anyways, sorry for the rage, here is how I felt:
I think this was a great story that grabbed my attention and clutched me like I clutch a stick of dynamite. Even though it was a bit confusing at the beginning, it was all clear at the end. The use of metaphors was amazing (unless those weren't metaphors and the author didn't understand the concept of water-land-air). The way people turned into martians was a great concept and amazing. I still wonder how the people transformed though, maybe a chemical affected their eyes, while lack of gravity made them thinner and taller, and the thin atmosphere gave little or no protection from the sun, probably making them dark skinned. All around, it's a great concept.

ReplyDeletePor que pones tantos
Delete1.In my opinion the story was about how he feels in living on Mars and how he thinks he is a third wheel. Also how he was always concerned and never relaxed. In my opinion the story was very crazy cause they were suddenly on mars and people cat live on Mars but i realized it was on the future. I was anxious reading cause i wanted to know if they were making it back to Earth or stayed forever on Mars.
ReplyDelete2. I thing the phrase it negative cause it explains how quiete they were and how lonely they were on Mars. Word that supported my answer were wind passing through the stiff grass that makes me feel sad cause i know how lonely they felt.
3. Harry is a very concered and paranoid person cause he is always worrying about things he shouldn't, although i think in some of them he was right and people werent paying a attention to him. I also admit i would get worried if my sons and my wife eyes start getting gold and they start to get darked skin. Harrys problem is that since they got to Mars he has always been stressed and now that no more rockets were coming he is even more stressed. What he needs to do is relax. H e also just want things to be perfect and not everything can be perfect.
1. I think these story was about a family that went to Mars and the dad was really uncomfortable and then he started growing crops in they're garden but they were really weird. Suddenly Laura said to the family the news that Atoms bombs hit New York and a war began. So, the dad went to the town and decide he was going to do a rocket and that he was only going to eat from deepfreeze. Dad also noticed that all the people were getting tall, with dark skin, and with yellow eyes. One day the whole family went to swim in the lake and they saw a beautiful mosaic villa. Another day the dad was working in his rocket and heard the other men talking that they were going to move from the town and decide that he also wanted to move. So, he told the family looked for they things and move to the mosaic villa left a lot of things behind. 5 years later a rocket from Earth came and they didn't found any human and started naming all the things again. I think that the story was really good but a little weird. I also think that the dad was a really good dad because stayed for his family.
ReplyDelete2. I think the type of mood is positive. The words that support my idea are " the children with their yellow hair hollered at the deep dome of Martian sky." because the author describe it like the kids are really happy and full of joy.
3. Harry was crestfallen when he came out of the rocket. He wasn't comfortable at all. He kept on telling to his wife that he wan't to buy tickets to go to Earth. He was really stressed out because he kept on thinking that something bad was going to happen. He demonstrates that he fears a lot when he started panicking because the vegetables and the cow were strange and saying that he wouldn't eat food that is grown on mars.
