Moses meant for Slaves allot because they wanted Moses like he saved Egypt to help them and them to be free which was there motivation. Liberty is all they wanted.
I think that they song about Moses because Moses liberated the jewish slaves from the egyptians, and thinking about the liberation of slaves gave them hope. Another reason was because of Harriet Tubman, who was kind of like a savior to them.
Also, I believe my comment would count as first because nobody else mentioned that they were first, so... FIRST
The reason why slaves sang to Moses was for him to help them and give them things they needed. Their inspiration or motivation to do this is to be free, get liberty and live a better life.
They sang about Moses and the Egyptians because Moses was represented by Mrs. Tubman and the Egyptians were the slaves themselves now that just as the Egyptians and Moses got to be free, they also wanted to get to be free someday
I think it was important for slaves to sing about Moses and Egypt because they wanted freedom and they look at Harriet Tubman as Moses because she has helped many slaves go free just like Moses help the Faro's slaves free in Egypt.
I think it was important because they wanted the slaves to be free.It also was to make everybody be free and in Egypt there were the most slaves and they did it because it was important.
Maybe Egypt was a key place to follow the secret road (railroad). They sang about Moses so that they would not lose hope of being free. Egypt was also full of slaves and they could relate.
