Reading Skills - Characters (Methods of Characterization) and Plot
Methods of Characterization
1. Direct Description: when the writer comes right out and tells you information about a character
2. Actions: The actions of the character teaches the readers (and other characters) about the character
3. Speech: What the character says and how they say it gives information to the reader.
4. Thoughts: What's going on inside the character's head reveals information about the character.
5. Reactions of Others: How other characters respond to the character.
6. Relationships: Who the character's friends are.

He loves that they call him zebra. he likes to think a lot. he has a bad leg and the doctors had tolled him that he couldn't run like that again. their friends kept calling them zebra after that.

He seems very mysterious and asks Adam if his school would like to take art class in summer. Adam shows Mr. Wilson where the school office is and tells him to ask for Mrs. English.

zebra:likes to run, he´s real name is adam, he cant remember when they started to call him zebra, he would go running through the neighborhood, before he got he's accident running really fast and the doctor told him he would never be able to run like that again.

Zebra (Adam) is a good runner and persistant. He love be called Zebra and likes to be alone and be with himself. He study in a really good school with a very strict profesor.
